Therapeutic Bodywork

What can I expect from my Therapeutic Bodywork session?

INTAKE

Each session begins with a short intake and chat. The purpose of the intake is to check in with the client, to welcome all that they may be bringing with them to the session, and understand what their intention is for coming. Is it to decompress from your day or week? Are you working through grief? Does your body just feel tight from over-work, or recent travels? The goal is to meet the client where they are on the day of their appointment.

A SESSION IS CREATED

With a clear understanding of the client’s needs, a session is created for that day. The session might involve a variety of modalities of Bodywork - ex. 20 minutes of Reiki followed by a relaxing massage; or a short Yoga session followed up with a chair or table massage - chosen to meet the needs of the client’s body & mind.

How long does a typical Therapeutic Bodywork session last?

For the best outcome, I recommend a session of 75-90 minutes. However, a shorter session is available if requested.

Do you offer packages for your sessions?

Yes. I offer a package of 4 sessions at a reduced rate within an 8 week time frame.
