Bodywork Services

Yoga

Although all Yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, Yoga Therapy is the specific application of Yogic tools- postures, breathwork, meditation techniques and lifestyle suggestions- to address an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional needs.

Reiki

A form of energy work through the hands, Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. Reiki works on different levels; the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. In this session the client is fully clothed and lying down.

Massage

Classic Swedish massage using light to medium pressure. The technique aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension. Swedish massage may loosen up tight muscles caused by daily activities such as sitting at the computer, or exercising. It can be very helpful for people who hold a lot of tension in their lower back, neck, and shoulders. Massage sessions may be offered in a chair or on a table.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese word meaning “ finger pressure”. Shiatsu uses hand pressure and manipulative  techniques to adjust the body’s physical structure and it’s natural inner energies, to help ward off illness, and maintain good health. Client remains fully clothed and may be on the floor.

Meditation

Meditation helps to quiet the mind and slow down the breath. I suggest this for those that are especially stressed. The meditation practice used is iRest®Yoga Nidra. IRest is a meditation through body sensation- to restore overall balance and calm in your life, and help you be more at ease with yourself, others, and the world around you.


Rates

Therapeutic Bodywork Session with Pamela Brewer

60 minute sessions $100 90 minutes- $145

Sessions generally last between 60 or 90 minutes. This time includes the intake portion followed by the bodywork. A 90 minute session is recommended for all new clients. This insures enough time to get a whole and accurate picture of the client’s needs, and the most effective bodywork can be given. *Shorter sessions are available upon request.
